Organized in 1908, the Church of the Nazarene is dedicated to make Christ-like disciples in the nations. The denomination is home to about 2.5 million members worshipping in more than 30,000 congregations in 162 world areas.
The mission of the USA/Canada Region is the same as the denomination: to make Christlike disciples in the nations. The vision for the region encapsulates the “heart cries” heard from people across the United States and Canada. Mobilizing all Nazarenes in unity in the midst of a polarized world; calling our churches to engage in blessing our community; bringing people to Jesus especially our younger generations; and embracing the transformation of the whole person through becoming Christlike disciples.

Nazarene Bible College exists to glorify Jesus Christ as Lord by preparing adults to evangelize, disciple, and minister to the world. Since 1967 Nazarene Bible College has fulfilled its mission of preparing men and women for ministry. Nazarene Bible College is one of ten Nazarene institutions of higher education in the United States. It is one of the two institutions charged by the denomination with the relatively exclusive task of preparing ministers.
