Terms We Use
As we travel throughout northeast Illinois, we have met so many people who are new to our churches and our district. We have many new leaders beginning to attend our churches who are unaware of the language and terms we use. To better serve these new leaders, below are links to lists of terms you may hear people use among us. We are a Partner District with MULTIPLYNAZ and these “Terms We Use” pages are located on the MULTIPLYNAZ website.
In addition, on the MULTIPLYNAZ College of Ministry page, we have created links to lists of terms we use in the Lay Pastor Certificate program, Certificate of Christian Ministries program, and the Diploma in Church Planting and Diploma in Church Revitalizing programs. Thanks for your patience as we identify and define all the terms we use. We encourage you to participate by using our Feedback System and help us compete the project.
